Garage aesthetics brought to order: raw materials, one accent colour and light from neon.
Create a themed coffee shop for riders in a small space: with a recognisable character, seating along the walls, a bar counter and a display case — and with finishes that stand up to heavy use.
The walls and ceiling are lined with OSB boards painted graphite, the metalwork is black, and the concrete is left exposed under a matt lacquer. Three things work against this backdrop: a full-wall graffiti piece, red neon — the “All Moto Cafe” sign and the words “Born to ride” — and red folding chairs. A mezzanine sits above the bar, and the menu is chalked on blackboards.
The set includes a survey plan, a finishes plan with a materials schedule and catalogue colours, the furniture layout, floor and ceiling plans, lighting, elevations and furniture details: the bar counter, the banquettes and the tables. There are 17 sheets in all, four of them visualisations.
A banquette with bolster cushions runs along the walls, with round pedestal tables in front of it. Part of the wall is covered in bamboo panels. The decoration comes from motorcycle culture: a bike on the mezzanine, helmets covered in mirror mosaic, and illuminated round mirrors. On the floor, arrow markings and oriental-patterned rugs soften the concrete.

Four decisions in a small café
Three honest materials in graphite and black: OSB walls and ceiling, metalwork and exposed concrete under matt lacquer.
A full-wall mural and red neon lettering replace decoration and set the evening light.
A banquette along the walls and compact round tables keep the middle of the room clear.
A counter with a display case and a chalkboard menu; on the mezzanine, the motorcycle is the main exhibit.
